Golden State Dance Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to providing a quality ballet experience to the Southern California community. V & T Classical Ballet & Dance Academy is the official school of GSDF.

Each year GSDF offers Orange County youth the opportunity to perform in full-length, professional quality productions like The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Seven Beauties, and Don Quixote.

In addition to these performances, GSDF dancers participate in many community outreach programs throughout the year including Arts OC’s Imagination Celebration, SOKA University’s International Festival, Pacific Symphony & Segerstrom Center Plaza cast, Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza, Laguna Woods Senior Community Events, and more. With your support, we hope to continue providing these types of culturally rich experiences for our students and the Orange County community.

GSDF also arranges annual summer intensive workshops where international ballet masters are invited to coach classical ballet technique. For some dancers, this has led to international performing experience for local students. Through the guidance of artistic directors, Victor & Tatiana Kasatsky, GSDF/V & T students have had the opportunity to perform with students from over 30 countries in the Youth America Grand Prix New York, Prix de Lausanne Switzerland, and International Ballet Competitions in Moscow and Varna, Bulgaria.

Through the years, select students have been awarded scholarships to world renowned dance schools and companies as well as acceptance into summer intensives such as ABT, Bolshoi Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, The Juilliard School, National Ballet of Canada, Princess Grace Monaco, San Francisco Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, and more.

In addition to receiving excellent dance training, graduating GSDF/V & T high school students have also been consistently accepted into various prestigious universities, such as Princeton, Columbia, University of Chicago, UCLA, UCI, UCSD, USC, Pomona College, and more. GSDF strives to help promising and need-based students through GSDF scholarship funds to help them achieve their dreams and goals for the future, not just in dance, but in life.
